Diggin' In The Dirt

            Workshop

                                     For Pre-K thru 4th grade

This workshop lets kids get their hands dirty, plant their own flower, take it home and watch it grow.

We supply 4in. pot, soil, fertilizer, and flowers.
Child gets choice of flower - several to choose from.
This workshop includes tour of greenhouse.

Objectives covered in this workshop are basic needs of living things, identifying development and structure of plants, life cycles, and beneficial insects. Each child will receive instructions on how to take care of plants.

Teachers and chaperones are free and encouraged to join in. Cost per child is $4. Each teacher will receive a free houseplant of their choice.
